Future Stars League — Rules
Boys & Girls · 2026 Season
Format
- One doubles match in each age group every Wednesday at 1:00 PM.
- Age groups: 10U, 12U, 14U, 17U.
- Eligibility: juniors play the age group they are as of August 31.
- 10U is exhibition only and does not count toward the season-ending total. These matches are arranged between the two clubs.
- 10U matches play on a 60′ court; ball type (red/orange) agreed by both clubs.
Scoring
- 12U / 14U / 17U: 8-game pro-set with a tiebreaker at 7–7 (no-ad scoring).
- 10U: 6-game pro-set with a tiebreaker at 5–5.
- One point awarded per match won; total points decide the season.
- Rain-outs should be rescheduled before the next match; otherwise the points are split evenly.
Defaults & timing
- Play begins at 1:00 PM.
- Matches are defaulted if a traveling club has not arrived by 1:30 PM.
Attire
- All-white tennis clothing (or per host club rules).
- Athletic shirts and tennis-style shorts/skirts required (check host for collar requirements).
- Tennis sneakers only — no cross-trainers or running shoes.
Host responsibilities
- Provide water/refreshment for visiting players.
Reporting scores
- All scores must be reported to Shorehaven Golf Club no later than the Friday following the scheduled match.
